What is the marriage process in CA? 

  • Obtain a Marriage License:
    Couples must obtain a marriage license from a County Clerk's office in California. Both parties need to appear in person, present valid government-issued IDs, and provide any required documentation (e.g., divorce papers if previously married). 

  • Ceremony:
    The marriage must be solemnized by an authorized officiant.

  • File the License:
    After the ceremony, the signed marriage license must be returned to the County Clerk's office for official recording.

Do you offer same day services?

If the marriage license is in possession, same day may be possible depending on availability. Please call to confirm. 

 

Do you issue the marriage licenses?

​No, marriage licenses must be obtained from the County Clerk's office

​

Do you have an office?

​No, we do not have a formal office but can travel to your desired location for the ceremony.
