What is the marriage process in CA?

Obtain a Marriage License:
Couples must obtain a marriage license from a County Clerk's office in California. Both parties need to appear in person, present valid government-issued IDs, and provide any required documentation (e.g., divorce papers if previously married). -
Ceremony:
The marriage must be solemnized by an authorized officiant. -
File the License:
After the ceremony, the signed marriage license must be returned to the County Clerk's office for official recording.​

Do you offer same day services?
If the marriage license is in possession, same day may be possible depending on availability. Please call to confirm.
Do you issue the marriage licenses?
​No, marriage licenses must be obtained from the County Clerk's office

Do you have an office?
​No, we do not have a formal office but can travel to your desired location for the ceremony.
